Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

WAF360 supports two methods of two-factor authentication. You can enable one method at a time.

Option 1: One-Time Passcode via Email

A verification code is sent to your email address each time you log in from an unrecognized device.

Option 2: Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP)

Use an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) for time-based codes.

Setup Steps:

  1. Select TOTP as your 2FA method
  2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  3. Enter the verification code from your app to confirm
  4. Save your recovery codes — These are one-time use backup codes in case you lose access to your authenticator
  5. Confirm the setup

The next time you log in from an unrecognized browser or device, you will need to provide a two-factor authentication code.

Recovery Codes

Recovery codes are generated during 2FA setup. Each code can only be used once. Store them in a safe place — they are your backup if you lose access to your authenticator device.
